Did you know that most communities are unprepared for a community-wide disaster that would impact residents, public systems, businesses, and surrounding communities?

The National Center for Community Strategies recognizes the importance of a community to be able to bounce back from setbacks. No matter how hard a community works, if they aren’t able to come back from disasters, all of their work would be for nothing. These disasters can range from an economic recession and loss of jobs to a natural disaster such as a hurricane or tornado. NCFCS works with communities to provide them with the right tools and basic infrastructure to be able to stand strong against a community-wide catastrophe.
